How quickly can I find storage?
Most renters find and book storage within 24–48 hours. Once you’ve found a listing you like, message the host directly. Many respond within a few hours, and move-in can happen as soon as the same week.
Is my payment protected if something goes wrong?
Yes. All payments are processed via Stripe and held in escrow until you’ve confirmed your move-in. If there’s a problem before you move in, your funds are returned. Our storage agreements also protect your rights throughout the booking.
How does Keepsakeit verify hosts?
Every host must complete Equifax identity and criminal history screening before their listing goes live. We also verify photos of the actual storage space and only publish reviews from real, completed bookings.
Can I access my belongings whenever I want?
Access frequency is agreed upon upfront in your storage agreement. Many hosts offer 24/7 access, while others prefer scheduled visits. This is discussed during the messaging stage so there are no surprises on either side.
Is it free to list as a host?
Yes — listing your space is completely free. Keepsakeit takes a small platform fee only when a booking is completed and funds are released. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges, and no obligation to accept any booking you’re not comfortable with.
What if I need to end my booking early?
Your storage agreement sets out the notice period and cancellation terms, which you agree on with your host. Many hosts are flexible. If there’s a dispute, Keepsakeit’s support team is here to help mediate and resolve it fairly.
